American’s are Feeling Pain: Economy is #1 Issue in ‘08

March 26, 2008 · Leave a Comment

“Eighty-two percent of Americans said the economy will be extremely or very important to their vote for president.” (CNN, 2008)

With oil prices at over $100 a barrel, health care going through the roof, and the collapse of the real estate market. It’s no wonder. Americans are really feeling the pain. Especially after our two latest booms: The Tech and Real Estate Bubbles. After a long economic growth trends Americans might have to start reeling in their spending habits. That’s no easy task for American’s 700 billion dollar trade deficit. (MSNBC, 2006) Americans are buying up the foreign markets. But it’s getting a little painful lately. As the American trade deficit racks up, so does the price of foreign goods. With a huge trade deficit, dollar’s are in less demand and creates a price increase. And sore Americans are waking up to a pricey situation. A situation that does not have to happen said by leading economists.

The Threat they say: Inflation

But what is inflation? Some may know it as the general rise of prices. But is this true? Economist Peter Schiff explains:

“Inflation means expansion, in the same sense that a balloon expands when you blow air into it. In economics, inflation refers to expansion of the amount of dollars in circulation, called the money supply. When new money or credit is added to an economy, thus diluting the existing supple, the general level of prices (aggregate prices) will rise…But understand the distinction: The money supply expands and contracts. Prices go up and down. Inflation and price increases are not the same thing. One is cause. The other is effect.” (Peter Schiff, 2007)

In summary, more money means your dollars are worth less.

(The size of the money supply over time.)

Painfully, Americans watch as the Federal Reserve prints more money. Thus causing prices to rise. American politicians, like American voters have spent far past what they can afford. Promised too much. As a result, underfunded social programs, entitlements, economic stimulus and wars are left unpaid. Sly politicians, instead of directly taxing the people, to pay their debts politicians increase the money supply. Thus creating inflation, and economic instability.

In the coming election, Americans will rally around their economic doctor. To heal their economic wounds. But America must demand a president of high standards. One who will steady the money supply. Or far worst side effects may way in, possibly depression.

Digg it.

Enlighten Yourself

February 10, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Congress has recently passed a bill promoting hazardous materials, health problems, and environmentally hazardous materials.

Danger Ahead

Washington has banned your incandescent light bulbs. It’s all in favor of the new CFLs. However, this new move causes much concern. CFLs, or compact fluorescent lights contain dangerous amounts of mercury. Mercury is the same chemical that was phased out in thermometers because it was dangerous. Not to mention, Phosphorus, an extremely toxic material, that has been banned in fertilizers in many states. And now congress is bringing it right back, into your home. This is a scare for our most loved ones: pregnant women, infants, and children.

Your Health at Risk
But that’s not all folks! In addition, fluorescents cause more health problems. CFLs are known to induce skin diseases and cause seizures. But don’t forget about fluorescents causing headaches and fatigue caused by the rapid flickering of light. Almost everyone has felt the effects of fluorescent light. During school or work or other activities many feel tired, fatigued, and have headaches after being in a fluorescently lighted building for long periods.

Biohazard
Mercury and Phosphorus are not only toxic to you but also to the environment. Many are puzzled about what to do. Recycling and disposal of this material is a huge concern if fluorescents were ever in widespread use. Just don’t worry about the $2,000 bill when you drop a fluorescent (Because you will now need an environmental clean-up firm). This is all contained in an environmental super-bill intended to improve our environment. However, it’s evident that fluorescents are anything but.

It’s clear. Fluorescents are dangerous. We need to urge our lawmakers to repeal or revise H.R. 1177. We need an alternative to fluorescents.
DON’T DROP THAT!
That’s a biohazard.

Army of Paul, I command you, Go Out and Speak

January 24, 2008 · Leave a Comment

The Gospel of the Media
The man’s Ron Paul. The phrase: “He can’t win” (recently tagged by the media). Every election, the people of America get the same results. The media indirectly votes for the president each year. In the news, candidates are either over publicized or torn apart. This beast (the media), and what it says, is taken as fact by many Americans. The world believes the media like it speaks the word of God. The ol’ quote spells it right out:

“It is easier to believe a lie that one has heard a thousand times than to believe a fact that no one has heard before.”
(Unkown Author)

And the word of the media, is becoming an unhealthy reality.

United We Stand
But still Ron Paul and his army stand strong. After internet “Money Bombs”, we showed America were strong. When we raised Paul the most money, we showed America we were devoted. And Online we showed America we could spam. But past all of these facts. We showed America Ron Paul could compete. And in Nevada: McCain, Huckabee, Thompson, Guiliani, Clinton, Obama, and Edwards all received less votes than Ron Paul.

Where They Stand
The Media Beast acts in desperation for good reason. Ron Paul is solid on the issues. He votes consistently. It’s no wonder why the media is scared. Their desperation has been showing. Examples are: False accusations of Ron Paul being in the KKK. Ron Paul cut out of a recent Fox Debate. And an under-publicized Nevada Caucus.

The Battle
But, the Road does not end here. The media beast has not yet been destroy. I say to you brothers, this is a battle between David and Goliath. A battle needing to be fought. The beast must be slain.

The so called “candidates who can win” have the media. But, We The People have Ron Paul.

How To Slay the Beast:

Vote. We The People created this country. We The People must take it back.

Google Ron Paul. See where he really stands.

Talk about Ron Paul. Get the word out. The only way people will hear about him is through you.

Youtube it for Paul. Keep bringing on the videos. This is the only video people will see how Paul stands.

Go door to door. Be Friendly. Tell them about Ron Paul and that darn media.

The Internet, are best weapon, has worked more than we could have hoped for. Keep at it.

Jump on the Streets. Hold your sign high. Get a couple shouts in and petition a bit.

Donate. “Money Bombs” are key to blowing away the other candidates.

Spread the word. Recruit others. No “Army of One” will win this election.

Blog, so the world can hear. Because they won’t hear it from their televisions.

Digg this post for Paul.

If anyone ever, EVER, talks shit about Our old man, Paul, defend him. So get to know the man.
